McEwen has been saying very L E N G T H Y blessings before eating. She always has a "new" one! This makes breakfast/lunch/dinner time very hard when Mullins is starving, which is ALWAYS!!! This week her very long blessing included "God, there are butterflies. I don't know what they eat, but I know you will tell me. God, there are leaves. We don't eat leaves but, we do eat salad." I was trying not to fall over with laughter, all the while thinking...please huury this up! Your sister is screaming with hunger pains and, I have so much to do!
So, after her blessing, the girls begin to eat and, I turn on Nick Jr. for them to watch while I begin to wash dishes. Diego was on. He was exploring butterflies and telling the kids what butterflies eat! I don't know if God speaks through cartoons but, He sure made a point to me.
